On April 20, 2023, IRRPP welcomed Shawn Ginwright, Professor of education in the Africana Studies Department and a senior research associate at San Francisco State University, for this year's Bowman Lecture. Dr. Ginwright discussed his latest book The Four Pivots: Reimagining Justice, Reimagining Ourselves. Dr. Ginwright is one of the nation’s leading innovators, provocateurs, and thought leaders on African American youth, youth activism, and youth development.
