As part of the state’s pledge to end homelessness, the Illinois Office to Prevent and End Homelessness is focusing part of its work this year on addressing the overrepresentation of Black people in our unhoused communities across the state. In partnership with UIC’s Institute for Research on Race and Public Policy, we are inviting you to join us for a community listening session to provide your insights and feedback. If you are a service provider, a community-based organization or a person experiencing homelessness and/or housing instability, we want to hear from you.
