Do you struggle to find time to write? Start the semester with seemingly reasonable writing goals but find yourself unable to meet them? Get overwhelmed by mid-semester and stop writing? In this hands-on, 90 minute workshop, you will:

  1. Set realistic writing goals for the semester
  2. Map out a concrete plan for their completion
  3. Create a strategy for managing unexpected events and tasks

This workshop, led by WriteOut! coach and UIC associate professor Michelle Boyd, is for any graduate student, staff member, or faculty member from any discipline who wants to make progress on a writing project. It will be especially useful for those who have completed the WriteOut! Dissertation Writing Retreat.
